How to Get Rs. 5000 from Karnataka Government? Which auto, taxi drivers are covered? 

Due to lockdown all people on the earth are suffering from no income issue. There is no flow of income in the society. It's became very difficult to lead the life due to lockdown and corona virus effect. 

As a reimbursement, Karnataka government is now offering financial assistance to the auto, taxi and cab drivers. Karnataka government is giving Rs. 5000 to auto and taxi drivers. They can get this financial assistance by applying in the government web portal. 

There is no need to stand in que in front of post office or any government institutions. Eligible drivers can apply themselves online by registering on the government web portal i.e sevasindhu.gov.in

Who are Eligible and What are the Terms and Conditions to Apply for Rs.5000 Financial Assistance

1) All auto, taxi and cab drivers who have valid driving licence and RC are eligible to apply for this financial assistance. 

2) They should be pure commercial auto drivers and they should fill their information accordingly in the web portal. 

3) Eligible drivers should have valid aadhaar card with them.

4) Eligible drivers should have valid bank account in their name. Rs.5000 will be directly credited in to the account of drivers. They should mention their own bank account only. 

5) Drivers should have valid RC of vehicle. They should mention their vehicle's RC number in the portal. If they don't have any RC then they can download it from the SARATHI 4 app on the google play store. 

6) Auto and taxi drivers should enclose self declaration letter. They should write this self declaration letter themselves in their own handwriting. The format will be given below. Drivers are requested to download the format to get a knowledge on writing self declaration letter.

Rs.5000 will be directly transferred to the Beneficiary Account:

Once the application is submitted in the web portal, then officials will verify it. After completion of verification eligible drivers will get compensation.
